The season of Discover.
Feeling like you only have enough energy for work and the basic daily tasks? You don't have anything left for your loved ones, going out with friends or even work out? That's a sign your system is just trying to survive right now.
Many people that first come into our clinic are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, fatigue, stress, sleeping problems, pains, depression, you name it. This really shows that this person is actually in the season of Discover.
When we are in this season we experience suffering, a sense of separateness / hopelessness , or we feel angry and want to blame others or we just feel very stuck and the same patterns is repeating itself over and over again.
Now, what actually produces the real pain and suffering for us and others around us is the seeking to avoid and run away from the emotions / experiences / feelings that are part of this season.
In Discover all we do is trying to survive react . There is not enough energy available to make any constructive change or impact yourself and people around you. You are in a pure fight-flight-freeze state.
So you might ask - what the hell do I do about it, I can't live like this any longer!? Well, stop running!
The key to Discover is actually something we call AAA - awareness, acknowledgement and acceptance. When you finally observe and recognise the patterns of avoidance, you are actually liberating energy . It's like you're becoming aware of the game and realize it is actually necessary to have and feel these emotions / experiences. You might temporarily feel more pain and discomfort but that's actually because you finally stopped running away from it and just being with it. This in itself allows things to reorganize and adds more energy to your system!
